ScreenHead children are so highly evolved that their heads have become flatscreen monitors, and some have IPhone hands. The story’s protagonists though are two normal, un-evolved, HumanHead children, Hillary and Humphrey, who initially feel very inferior to their so sleek, so smart, and so ‘connected’ ScreenHead classmates. For instance, Jennifer, a FacebookHead, has 1,097 Facebook ‘friends,’ while Jared, a GoogleHead, can find 21,654,021 references to nuclear radioactive in less than one second! But as the school year unfolds, Hillary and Humphrey discover that being HumanHeads is wonderfully rewarding after all.
This delightful story will engage children (and adults), while firing imagination through an innovative “You are the Illustrator” format which encourages (but does not require) artistic exploration of the story’s important Human and Cyber themes.
